How often do I have to go to therapy?

Each client is unique and presents with individualized circumstances. Traditionally therapy is conducted for one session per week, however as needs change we are happy to discuss service frequency and adjust accordingly.

How long do I have to be in therapy?

Therapy is meant to assist in the alleviation of unwanted symptoms, teach skills sets for coping, and provide a safe space for sharing and processing, therefore this changes on a case by case basis. We believe that therapy should conclude once the client feels they are doing well (We like to work ourselves out of a job).

Will it be painful?

The therapeutic process is meant to heal. In order to do so you will need to be ready to work and dive into the things that are the most challenging in order to process through it. So yes, at times it can be painful to discuss past traumas, but it’ll feel so great on the other side!
